Deck overview

This Orzhov deck helmed by Shadrix Silverquill is a token-swarm and +1/+1 counter strategy. The game plan is to generate a wide board of flying Inklings, Spirits, and Soldiers, multiply them with Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, and Elspeth, Storm Slayer, and grow them into lethal threats with Cathars' Crusade, Felidar Retreat, and Sigarda's Summons. Shadrix himself is a combat-triggered value engine, creating an Inkling, drawing a card, or distributing counters each turn. Death-trigger synergies with Teysa Karlov, Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, and Felisa, Fang of Silverquill convert trades and wipes into more tokens and drain. The deck wins through overwhelming flying combat backed by a dense protection suite including Teferi's Protection and Clever Concealment. It runs no infinite combos, relying instead on massive combat inevitability and incremental life drain.
