Deck overview

This Esper deck is a combat-damage-trigger deck built around Kamiz, Obscura Oculus. Each attack, Kamiz makes one attacker unblockable and gives a second, lower-power attacker double strike; the entire deck is engineered to turn that into repeated connections from life-loss and "lose the game" damage triggers. The primary kill cards are Virtus the Veiled, Unstoppable Slasher, Quietus Spike, Vorpal Sword, Summon: Primal Odin, Magister Sphinx, Phage the Untouchable, and Medomai the Ageless. A strong clone package-Cephalid Facetaker, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, Phyrexian Metamorph, Spark Double, and Auton Soldier-multiplies the best trigger creatures. Meanwhile, Satoru Umezawa, Raffine, Scheming Seer, Hashaton, Scarab's Fist, and Monument to Endurance convert Kamiz's connive discard into extra value, with a compact reanimation and interaction shell keeping the plan on track.
