Deck overview

This mono-white aggro deck focuses on aggressive creature deployment and +1/+1 counter synergy led by Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit. The deck curves low-mana creatures on early turns, triggering Anafenza's bolster ability and compounding power with enablers like Metastatic Evangel, Luminarch Aspirant, and Yoshimaru, Beloved Companion. Once a wide board is established, evasion enablers such as Abzan Falconer and Elite Scaleguard turn modest weenies into lethal airborne threats that pressure the table on Turn 6 and close the game around Turn 8. The deck supports its proactive aggro plan with an exceptional defensive suite, including Guardian of Faith, Dawn's Truce, Selfless Spirit, and Flare of Fortitude to withstand board wipes. Its reactive removal is equally sharp, packing format staples like Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, and Generous Gift. While lacking fast mana, infinite combos, and stack-based countermagic, it delivers steady card draw and reliable recovery through cards like Mentor of the Meek, Raise the Past, and Smile at Death.
