Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos reanimator and aristocrats strategy built around Ayara, Widow of the Realm. During the opening turns, the deck fixes mana and uses discard spells, self-mill, and creature sacrifices to place large threats like Myr Battlesphere, Demon of Death's Gate, and Noxious Gearhulk into the graveyard. On Turn 5, Ayara transforms into Ayara, Furnace Queen, granting repeatable combat-step reanimation with haste. The deck accelerates this pressure using Sundial of the Infinite to bypass the end-step exile trigger or sacrificing temporary attackers for direct damage and card advantage before they leave. Group drain effects like Gray Merchant of Asphodel and game-ending sorceries like Living Death provide reach to close out the table by Turn 8. While the deck boasts efficient spot removal and strong resource grinding, it remains exposed to targeted graveyard hate and lacks countermagic to protect its key transform windows.
