Adverse Possession by qippoz

Format: Commander

Commander: Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Tergrid, God of Fright is the engine payoff: the deck forces sacrifices and discards everywhere, then steals those permanents from graveyards. Tergrid's Lantern is a useful back-face fallback, but the God face is the build-around. Secondary paths are mono-black edict control, discard drain, and big-mana X spells; Torment of Hailfire is the usual finisher. The list fits Bracket 3: the only Game-Changer-weight cards are Tergrid, Braids Cabal Minion and Demonic Tutor, with no early two-card combo, no extra-turn chain, and no one-shot mass land denial. Braids and Smokestack are deliberate, symmetric, player-choice stax pieces. No hidden commander exists; Sheoldred and Braids act as lieutenants. Without Tergrid, the deck still runs as discard/edict control, but loses its unique theft engine.
