Deck overview

This Mardu Vampire tribal deck is helmed by Edgar Markov, whose Eminence creates a 1/1 Vampire token each time you cast another Vampire spell, rapidly flooding the board. The strategy combines a wide, aggressive creature base with a rich suite of lifegain and drain effects that convert each token and attack into incremental life loss for opponents. Primary win conditions include overwhelming combat damage from pumped Vampires, the infinite lifedrain loop of Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond (or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose), and the token-triggered burn from Purphoros, God of the Forge. The deck sustains its momentum through moderate card draw, resilient lords, and a few recursion pieces, aiming to close games between turns 6 and 8.
