Deck overview

This is an Orzhov Aura control deck commanded by Killian, Decisive Mentor. The primary game plan is to deploy a dense suite of enchantment auras to goad opponents' creatures, control the board with removal auras, and draw cards via Killian's attack trigger. The deck wins through combat damage from a heavily aura'd creature (often Killian himself) or a token swarm generated by enchantment cast triggers from Sigil of the Empty Throne, Hallowed Haunting, and Archon of Sun's Grace. Strong recursion for auras via Retether, Mantle of the Ancients, and Eiganjo Dynastorian // Replenish allows the deck to grind out long games. The goad effect forces opponents to attack each other, buying time while the deck builds its own board.
