#036 - Most Chaotic by user3542001

Format: Commander

Commander: Ian Malcolm, Chaotician

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Izzet deck is a group-draw/chaos build that turns every opponent's second draw into value through Ian Malcolm's exile trigger and a suite of 'second draw' payoffs. It tries to force the table to draw extra cards, generating Faerie/token swarms, incidental damage, and free spells from exile. The primary win is the Niv-Mizzet, Parun plus Ophidian Eye infinite-damage loop, with backup plans in Psychosis Crawler/Scrawling Crawler life loss, Locust God tokens, and stolen spells. The commander both accelerates the deck's own drawing and disrupts opponents, but is not strictly required for the main combo. It is a mid-paced, resource-heavy deck that can assemble a quick combo if it draws the right pieces.
