Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a Mardu fast-combo/aristocrats deck helmed by Edgar Markov, but it is not a conventional Vampire beatdown list. The commander's Eminence ability is used as a free token factory: every cheap Vampire spell creates a 1/1 Vampire that becomes fuel for rituals, sacrifice outlets, Skullclamp, and tutor costs. The deck's real engine is a low-curve pile of fast mana, rituals, tutors, and graveyard recursion centered on Underworld Breach, Lion's Eye Diamond, Wheel of Fortune, and Orcish Bowmasters, with a secondary drain loop built from Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and Vengeful Bloodwitch. Ad Nauseam and Necropotence provide the card velocity to assemble these lines, while Razaketh, the Foulblooded and Hoarding Broodlord act as hidden commanders that can chain-tutor the win.
