Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Jund list is a -1/-1 counters value-combo deck built around Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. Every counter the deck places is fuel: Auntie Ool draws a card whenever a counter lands on one of her own creatures and drains the controller of any opponent's creature that absorbs one, while Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and Flourishing Defenses convert identical counter events into token armies. The deck wins through two interlocking axes: a grind axis of counter-based soft locks (Maha, Its Feathers Night, Kulrath Knight), wipe-and-steal sequences (Necroskitter, The Reaper, King No More), and commander-driven card flow; and a fast axis of cheap infinite lines - Chain of Smog + Witherbloom Apprentice, Devoted Druid + Quillspike or All Will Be One, and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed death loops. Auntie Ool's ward-blight tax makes her own removal feed the deck's primary resource, making her both engine and shield.
