Deck overview

This Orzhov Aristocrats deck is led by Teysa Karlov, who turns death into overwhelming value by doubling every death trigger you control while granting creature tokens vigilance and lifelink. The strategy revolves around assembling a three-part engine consisting of free sacrifice outlets, resilient creature fodder, and drain payoffs like Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat. With Teysa on the battlefield, every sacrificed creature drains opponents twice, generates double tokens, and yields massive card flow through engines like Midnight Reaper. The deck can also execute infinite drain loops using Pitiless Plunderer, Gravecrawler, and a Zombie sacrifice outlet. While the list excels at incremental life drain and creature attrition through cards like Priest of Forgotten Gods and Butcher of Malakir, it remains reliant on a wide board of creatures and artifacts. It trades stack-based protection for deep functional redundancy and powerful mass reanimation through Rally the Ancestors.
