Squall is Back Baby! by Spagettsu

Format: Commander

Commander: Squall, SeeD Mercenary

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Orzhov Equipment Voltron deck is helmed by Squall, SeeD Mercenary, a commander built to attack alone with double strike and recur permanents from the graveyard on combat damage. The primary game plan is to suit Squall with unblockable equipment and power-boosting swords, then swing in for lethal commander damage while rebuilding value from the graveyard each turn. The deck also includes a strong recursion subtheme (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Sevinne's Reclamation) and a minor drain package (Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, Zulaport Cutthroat) to close out games. With a dense tutor suite and a low average mana value of 2.32, the deck is highly consistent in finding its critical pieces.
