Deck overview

This Boros deck is a dedicated Dwarf tribal and Historic aggro deck commanded by Dáin of the Ancient Halls. The strategy focuses on curving out low-cost Dwarf creatures, Equipment, and legendary permanents during the early turns to establish an enduring story. Once five mana is reached, Dáin enters combat with haste to convert the wide Dwarf board into immediate, unblockable burn damage dealt simultaneously to every opponent. High-synergy permanents such as Bifur, Melodic Rider, Bruenor Battlehammer, and An Unexpected Party amplify power and double triggered abilities to close the game out quickly through combined combat and burn. The deck runs an unusually high land count of 55 lands, ensuring land drops are never missed, though this reduces overall card velocity and interactive density.
