Commander: Oloro, Ageless Ascetic

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Oloro, Ageless Ascetic runs a life-gain/combo-control plan. Its primary kill is a two-card loop with hidden commander Sydri, Galvanic Genius: animate Aetherflux Reservoir, give it lifelink, then pay 50 life repeatedly to deal 50 damage while refunding the life. Oloro is used mainly from the command zone, where his upkeep gain builds the life total; if cast, he turns every life gain into card draw and opponent drain. Secondary paths use the same life-gain/drain triggers (Exquisite Blood, Bloodthirsty Conqueror), life-doubling spells like Beacon of Immortality or Revival // Revenge, and evasive lifelink attackers. A dense countermagic shell protects the combo turn.
