Bruna, the Fading Light by Shurima

Format: Commander

Commander: Bruna, the Fading Light

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-white Angel tribal deck builds a lifegain board and wins through combat. It ramps with cost reducers like Giada and Pearl Medallion, then floods the board with Angels that gain life, grow the team, and generate tokens via Bishop of Wings, Righteous Valkyrie, and Angelic Accord. Bruna, the Fading Light acts as repeatable recursion, returning Angels or Humans from the graveyard and threatening to meld with Gisela into Brisela, Voice of Nightmares. Secondary wins come from Angel of Destiny's life-difference trigger, Aetherflux Reservoir, and Ajani's ultimate. Without combos, it relies on anthem effects and Akroma's Will for alpha strikes, playing a slow, resilient midrange game that rebuilds well after wipes.
