Sephiroth by Slade

Format: Commander

Commander: Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats and combo deck uses Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER to grind card advantage and drain opponents whenever creatures die. The primary game plan controls the board with discard and removal while assembling death triggers to transform Sephiroth into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, creating a permanent drain emblem. The deck closes games through an infinite drain combo using Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog, repeatedly copying the spell to trigger Magecraft. Alternatively, it wins through accumulated life drain with Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Starscape Cleric, and Painful Quandary backed by reanimation spells like Reanimate and Victimize.
