Format: Commander

Commander: The Council of Four

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Council of Four is a draw-and-token value engine in Azorius control. The deck leans on symmetrical draw effects (Howling Mine, Kami of the Crescent Moon, Dictate of Kruphix) plus second-draw/second-spell payoffs (Faerie Mastermind, Trouble in Pairs, Smuggler's Share, Monologue Tax) to convert opponents' normal plays into cards and 2/2 Knights. The commander is the repeatable engine, not the finisher. Secondary paths are Psychosis Crawler life-drain from your many draw triggers and a go-wide Knight/Human army finished by Moonshaker Cavalry. There is no true hidden commander; King T'Challa // Black Panther, Hope Enduring is the closest lieutenant, with its front side copying Council's draw trigger and its back acting as a resilient attacker.
