Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is built around Blim, Comedic Genius, executing a 'Bad Gifts' and forced-combat strategy. The primary plan accelerates Blim into play using efficient artifact ramp, equips evasion tools like Whispersilk Cloak or Prowler's Helm, and donates catastrophic permanents such as Steel Golem, Grid Monitor, Aggressive Mining, and Demonic Pact upon dealing combat damage. Each successful Blim strike drains life and strips cards from opponents based on donated permanents they control. Meanwhile, a dense suite of goad and combat-redirection effects—including Kardur, Doomscourge, Disrupt Decorum, and Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer—forces opposing boards to attack each other, preventing aggression toward you and whittling down life totals. Discard punishers like Megrim, Liliana's Caress, and Waste Not convert Blim's triggers into lethal attrition. The deck operates primarily at a casual, high-synergy power level, thriving on political chaos and asymmetric board locks while managing the inherent risk of its own detrimental permanents.
