teysa token death by user4980263

Format: Commander

Commander: Teysa Karlov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Teysa Karlov leads a death-trigger aristocrats engine. There is no double-faced commander; the deck is built specifically to let Teysa double every dying reward. The primary plan is to turn token fodder into repeated death triggers, with Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Bastion draining all opponents. Secondary paths are wide lifelink/vigilance token combat from Elspeth or Thalisse, plus Exsanguinate/recursion as a backup burst. Closest backup/"hidden" commander is Elenda, the Dusk Rose: she grows with the same deaths and doubles her token burst under Teysa, giving an alternate finish if Teysa is expensive or offline.
