Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca leads a Simic Merfolk tribal deck centered on accumulating board presence, generating card advantage, and closing games through unblockable combat damage. Kumena turns tapped Merfolk into unblockable attacks, card draw, and team-wide plus-one-plus-one counters without requiring mana. The strategy relies on token generators like Deeproot Pilgrimage and Deeproot Waters alongside untap engines such as Merrow Commerce and Quest for Renewal to activate Kumena repeatedly across turn cycles. Finisher cards like Herald of Secret Streams, Unnatural Growth, and one-sided sweepers like Raise the Palisade ensure that your buffed Merfolk overwhelm the table simultaneously.
