Deck overview

This Grixis (U/B/R) list helmed by Saruman, the White Hand is a spell-slinging token generation strategy that rewards casting noncreature spells through its commander's "amass Orcs X" trigger. The deck piles on additional amass effects (e.g. Bothersome Noisemaker, Misty Mountains Raider, Summons of Saruman) to build and strengthen the Army token while also using targeted graveyard recursion (Living Death, Reanimate) to reanimate creatures as back-up. The primary win plan is an overwhelming, trampling Army (Orcish Siegemaster grants trample, Great Ugly-Looking Goblin // Clap! Snap! grants menace) backed by an out-of-action angle of draining the game with Living Death boarding. The deck also includes a small hand attack in Notion Thief and a few counterspells for stack protection. The overall pacing is mid-range: build a large Army over multiple turns, then close through combat.
