Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-red Dragon tribal midrange strategy led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns with tribal cost reducers and mana rocks, casting Lathliss on Turn 4 or 5, and rapidly overwhelming opponents with a swarm of massive flying Dragons. Every subsequent Dragon cast triggers Lathliss to generate a complimentary 5/5 Dragon token, doubling the deck's board presence and damage output. Synergy pieces like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of Mount Velus convert creature deployment into immediate burn damage and lethal combat swings. The deck relies on high-impact sweeper spells such as Blasphemous Act and Magmaquake to reset opposing boards while breaking parity with large flying threats. Although vulnerable to mass removal and lacking counterspell protection, the deck delivers crushing airborne combat pressure and strong redundancy across its standalone Dragon bombs.
