Format: Commander

Commander: Blech, Loafing Pest

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Golgari Pest deck turns life gain into board growth. Blech, Loafing Pest puts a +1/+1 counter on each Pest, Bat, Insect, Snake and Spider you control whenever you gain life, so every Pest token, Bogwater Lumaret trigger or drain effect grows the whole team. You win by going wide and attacking with large, counter-loaded creatures while draining opponents with Arnyn, Deathbloom Botanist, Cauldron of Essence and South Wind Avatar. Blech is the main counter engine, not a combo piece. Gwenom, Remorseless acts as a hidden commander, giving you cards by playing from the top of your library when you attack.
