Sigurd's Epic Saga by kknd

Format: Commander

Commander: Sigurd, Jarl of Ravensthorpe

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Sigurd, Jarl of Ravensthorpe helms a Naya Saga-tribal enchantress deck. The plan is to bury the table in incremental value: cheap Sagas ramp, draw cards, clear blockers, and eventually transform into enchantment creatures, while the enchantress core of Sythis, Harvest's Hand, Enchantress's Presence, Setessan Champion, Eidolon of Blossoms, and Mesa Enchantress turns every enchantment spell into a card. Sigurd attacks and uses his boast to move lore counters, and every lore counter placed on a Saga also pumps another creature. Accelerators like Satsuki, the Living Lore, Garnet, Princess of Alexandria, and Ian Chesterton push Sagas ahead of schedule. The deck converts this card advantage into large legendary threats: Eivor, Wolf-Kissed mills directly into play, Surtr, Fiery Jotun pings off historic casts, Havi, the All-Father recurs legends, and Excalibur, Sword of Eden turns a legendary into a one-shot finisher. There are no infinite combos; the primary win is overwhelming combat plus incidental historic damage.
