Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Voltron and tempo strategy led by Kotis, the Fangkeeper. The game plan accelerates Kotis onto the battlefield on Turn 3 using two-mana ramp artifacts and land search spells. On Turn 4, the deck uses low-cost evasion auras like Aqueous Form and efficient pump spells like Invigorate or Phytoburst to push heavy combat damage through. When Kotis connects, its triggered ability exiles cards from the defending opponent's library and casts any number of spells with mana value less than or equal to the damage dealt for free. This converts combat damage into massive board presence and card advantage. A dense suite of one-mana hexproof and protection spells shields Kotis from opposing interaction, allowing the deck to eliminate players sequentially with lethal commander damage. While fragile if Kotis is permanently neutralized, the deck operates with high speed and resilience against standard destruction.
