Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Orzhov Aristocrats and Lifegain engine led by Liesa, Forgotten Archangel. Liesa provides built-in card advantage and asymmetric graveyard suppression by exiling opposing creatures that die while returning your own nontoken creatures to hand at end step. The deck pairs this attrition engine with heavy stax pieces such as Linvala, Keeper of Silence, Angel of Jubilation, and Opposition Agent to stifle opposing game plans. To close games cleanly, the deck leverages efficient black tutors like Demonic Tutor and Vampiric Tutor to assemble the deterministic two-card infinite combo of Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Exquisite Blood, which drains the entire table in a single turn. Backup lines utilize Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos to establish complete creature dominance or Archangel of Thune to overwhelm opponents through massive aerial combat.
