Deck overview

This deck leverages Karn, Gilded Guardian at the helm of a 5-color artifact engine centered on enter-the-battlefield synergy, cost reduction, and blink loops. The early game establishes colored artifact permanents such as Baleful Strix, Cryogen Relic, or Leyline of the Guildpact alongside fast mana to deploy Karn on Turn 4 for an immediate burst of card draw. Once Karn is online, recurring flicker engines like Teleportation Circle, Displacer Kitten, and Soulherder replenish resources every turn. The deck transitions rapidly into critical onset on Turn 5 by casting game-ending artifact overruns such as Craterclaw Colossus or Cyberdrive Awakener, overwhelming opposing life totals in 1 to 2 combat rotations. A dense suite of free and efficient interaction defends the board while asymmetric tools like Organic Extinction and Riptide Gearhulk dismantle opposing resistance.
