Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal stompy deck commanded by Ureni of the Unwritten. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana through early ramp spells and cost reducers to cast Ureni on turn 5. Upon entering the battlefield and attacking, Ureni looks at the top eight cards of the library to cheat high-impact Dragons directly into play. The deck features heavyweight tribal payoffs such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Atarka, World Render, Utvara Hellkite, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen, allowing it to rapidly build an overwhelming aerial army. While the deck boasts high redundancy among its threats and strong engine recovery through its commander, it relies on combat damage to eliminate opponents over several turn cycles. It operates with minimal proactive stax and remains susceptible to well-timed sweepers if protection spells are not held up.
