Commander: Shelob, Child of Ungoliant

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Shelob, Child of Ungoliant leads a Golgari Spider-tribal control and midrange strategy. Shelob transforms every Spider into lethal removal by granting deathtouch and ward 2, turning fight and bite spells into instant-speed creature theft as Food artifacts. The deck develops mana, builds a wall of high-toughness reach blockers, and controls opposing boards using bite effects and tribal synergies. Winning lines revolve around overwhelming the table with Spider tokens via Spider Spawning, Ishkanah, Grafwidow, and Rotwidow Pack life drain, or resolving Overwhelming Stampede using Shelob's base eight power to deliver lethal combat damage across all opponents.
