Deck overview

The Archimandrite is a Jeskai artifact-life-gain deck that treats Zirda, the Dawnwaker as a hidden companion. The core plan is to assemble Basalt Monolith and Zirda for infinite mana, then use Staff of Domination to draw the deck and gain arbitrary life before finishing with Aetherflux Reservoir. The commander supplies steady life gain and card draw, while a dense artificer/artifact core provides tutors, recursion, and speed. The public commander is primarily a value engine, but the deck is built around the companion-based combo. A fallback combat plan uses Osgir, Sai, and Urza to generate threats and buy time.
