Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tempo and sea monster control deck led by Eluge, the Shoreless Sea. The primary game plan focuses on deploying Eluge on Turn 4 to spread flood counters across lands, transforming them into Islands while accumulating cost reductions for your first instant or sorcery spell each turn. This discount enables you to hold up potent counterspells and removal at minimal mana cost while developing your mana base. In the mid-to-late game, the deck transitions from reactive control into proactive pressure by casting high-impact sea monsters such as Stormtide Leviathan, Scourge of Fleets, and Spawning Kraken. These leviathans clear opposing boards, lock down ground combat, and generate lethal combat damage across multiple attack steps. Supported by passive land disruption from Harbinger of the Seas and Quicksilver Fountain, the deck steadily constrains opposing fixing while closing out the game with unblockable sea monsters.
