Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mardu aggro deck led by Kaalia of the Vast, designed to cheat massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield attacking. The mana base of 40 lands and focused ramp ensures Kaalia enters on Turn 3 or 4. Once attacking, Kaalia bypasses heavy mana costs to deploy decisive threats like Ancient Gold Dragon, Balefire Dragon, and Aurelia, the Warleader. The deck applies immediate aerial pressure while using Isshin, Two Heavens as One and Dragonhawk, Fate's Tempest to multiply combat triggers and card flow. While its spot removal suite reliably handles key opposing permanents, the deck lacks countermagic and heavily depends on Kaalia surviving her initial attack step.
