Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Bant Food/Golem deck helmed by Brenard, Ginger Sculptor is a midrange value-engine that aims to generate incremental advantage through creature death triggers, token creation, and artifact synergies. The commander turns each nontoken creature death into a 1/1 Food Golem copy, providing both a mana-sink (via the Food sacrifice ability) and a resilient board presence. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage: anthems like Urza, Prince of Kroog and Master Splicer pump the token army, while Rise and Shine and Cyberdrive Awakener can turn noncreature artifacts into lethal attackers. Divine Visitation offers a secondary path by converting tokens into 4/4 Angel tokens. The deck lacks fast combos, relying instead on grinding value, recursion via Samwise Gamgee, and a wide board to close out games.
