Ajani 11 by Nayar

Format: Commander

Commander: Ajani, Nacatl Pariah // Ajani, Nacatl Avenger

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ajani, Nacatl Pariah // Ajani, Nacatl Avenger leads a Cat-token aggro deck that uses the front face for an early body and token, then quickly sacrifices a Cat to transform into the planeswalker. The rear face is the real engine: its 0 ability creates Cats and burns for the board size, eventually tripled by City on Fire. Secondary paths are wide combat with Cat lords, token doublers, and haste/pump effects. There is no hidden commander. The deck wins by either a single huge Ajani burn plus hasted alpha strike, or by grinding through card draw and Goblin Bombardment reach. It is not a combo deck.
