Smaug, Glittering Dragons by user9546962

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Smaug the Impenetrable is both the engine and the finishing tool: the deck damages him with Pyrohemia, Pestilence, and Chain Lightning to turn noncombat damage into Treasures, then uses those Treasures to fuel a copy-loop kill, a huge Crackle with Power, or alternate win conditions. Blazing Sunsteel and Wrathful Red Dragon convert every point of damage Smaug takes into more burn. Smaug the Magnificent and Smaug, Wicked Worm act as hidden commanders, giving haste attacks backed by Treasures and an ETB burst. The plan is a treasure/combo midrange deck that can also win through Revel in Riches or Hellkite Tyrant.
