Deck overview

This mono-white deck is commanded by Kwende, Pride of Femeref and focuses on weaponizing the synergy between first strike, double strike, and lifegain triggers. The game plan curve begins with low-cost first-strike and lifelink creatures like Knight of Meadowgrain and Voice of the Blessed. When Kwende enters the battlefield, all first-strike creatures gain double strike, which allows lifegain-triggered abilities—such as those on Heliod, Sun-Crowned, Archangel of Thune, and Light of Promise—to trigger twice each combat: once during the first-strike damage step and again during regular combat damage. This causes attackers to double in size mid-combat while rapidly inflating life totals. The deck supports this aggressive core with reliable card draw engines like Chivalric Alliance, flexible removal such as Swords to Plowshares and Generous Gift, and dedicated protection spells including Flawless Maneuver to safeguard the board from sweepers on the path to a Turn 7 combat victory.
