Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul midrange strategy led by Kibo, Uktabi Prince that weaponizes artifact destruction and resource denial. The game plan accelerates Kibo into play by Turn 2 or 3 to begin distributing Banana tokens to all players. As opponents sacrifice their Bananas for mana and life, or when the deck resolves sweepers like Meltdown and Vandalblast, Kibo rapidly accumulates +1/+1 counters. The deck converts this board presence into a decisive win by resolving mass land destruction spells like Thoughts of Ruin and Impending Disaster, locking opponents out of mana while breaking parity through creature ramp like Birds of Paradise and Delighted Halfling. Trample enablers and extra combat steps from Moraug, Fury of Akoum close out the table over consecutive turns.
