Current Tyranids (Potential edits) by Daemeon

Format: Commander

Commander: Magus Lucea Kane

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Temur big-mana X-spell deck built around Magus Lucea Kane's copy ability. The plan is to ramp aggressively, land the commander, then use her activation to copy massive X-cost ravenous Tyranids and burn spells, doubling every payoff. The deck layers three win paths: overwhelming combat from copied, counter-stacked creatures (with flying/haste/double strike from Winged Hive Tyrant and Deathleaper, Terror Weapon), table-wide X-burn via Comet Storm, Jaya's Immolating Inferno, Exocrine, and Zoanthrope, and the alternate-condition Simic Ascendancy. Counter doublers (Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, Zimone, Paradox Sculptor, Bristly Bill, Spine Sower) turn each ravenous creature into an exponential threat. The commander is the heart of the deck - without her copy trigger, the X spells lose half their value - but the mana engines (Nexos, Rosheen Meanderer, Mana Reflection) carry the plan.
