treasure assassians by rayton84

Commander: Vihaan, Goldwaker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Mardu Treasure-matters deck built around Vihaan, Goldwaker. The game plan is to generate a critical mass of Treasure tokens through passive engines like Smothering Tithe, Descent into Avernus, and Monologue Tax, then use Vihaan's combat ability to turn every Treasure into a hasty 3/3 Construct Assassin and attack for massive damage. Because the animated Treasures are Assassins, they benefit from Vihaan's haste and vigilance. The deck also runs several alternate-win payoffs in Revel in Riches, Hellkite Tyrant, and Knuckles the Echidna, plus drain damage from Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, and Reckless Fireweaver. It is a midrange token-aggro deck that seeks to snowball Treasure count into one overwhelming combat turn rather than assemble a fast infinite combo.
