Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula commands a Grixis spellslinger strategy focused on explosive combat steps. When Azula attacks, she generates two red mana via firebending and copies every spell cast while she is attacking. The deck leverages this trigger by chaining combat tricks, card draw, and burn spells directly in combat. Primary win conditions rely on commander damage amplified by double-strike and power multipliers like Unleash Fury and Fists of Flame, or wide-table burn through Aria of Flame, Fated Firepower, and Thousand-Year Storm. Value engines like Storm-Kiln Artist and Veyran, Voice of Duality supply the resources required to finish games in single bursts.
