Deck overview

This deck utilizes Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon as a lethal Voltron commander capable of eliminating opponents via poison counters. Operating on a mono-black mana base, the strategy accelerates into Skithiryx using standard mana rocks and rituals, then attaches high-power Equipment such as Lashwrithe, Nightmare Lash, and Strata Scythe. Because poison requires only 10 damage rather than 40 life or 21 commander damage, Skithiryx represents an immediate lethal threat upon deployment, aided by its built-in haste ability. The supporting suite features efficient recursion tricks like Supernatural Stamina to counter removal, alongside evasion tools such as Whispersilk Cloak and Filth. The deck is limited by its sequential combat nature, as it must eliminate three players one by one across multiple turn cycles, leaving it susceptible to targeted exile and multiplayer archenemy pressure.
