Hmm Squirrels by user5096032

Format: Commander

Commander: Hazel of the Rootbloom

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hazel of the Rootbloom leads a Golgari Squirrel-token swarm. The main plan is to generate a wide Squirrel board with Chatterfang, Deep Forest Hermit, Chatterstorm, and Squirrel Nest, then use Hazel's activated ability to turn spare tokens into a burst of mana while her end-step trigger copies tokens for exponential growth. Combat wins come from Beastmaster Ascension, End-Raze Forerunners, or Garruk's emblem. A secondary infinite loop-Ivy Lane Denizen plus Scurry Oak-creates unlimited Squirrels; with Plumb the Forbidden and enough death-trigger payoffs such as Zulaport Cutthroat or Bastion of Remembrance, it ends the game immediately. Hazel is a value and mana engine, not a required combo piece.
