Deck overview

This deck is a Naya Lands midrange strategy commanded by Yuma, Proud Protector. The game plan revolves around filling the graveyard with land cards—specifically Deserts—through landcycling, fetchlands, and sacrifice spells. This reduces Yuma's casting cost to a minimal {R}{G}{W}, enabling an early Turn 4 deployment that immediately establishes a card-drawing and token-generating engine. Once Yuma is active, the deck leverages mass land recursion and sacrifice spells such as Scapeshift, Lumra, Bellow of the Woods, Titania, Protector of Argoth, and Nahiri's Lithoforming on Turn 5 to flood the battlefield with 4/2 Plant Warrior and 5/3 Elemental tokens. The deck supports this aggressive token clock with potent land-based disruption like Strip Mine recursion, repeatable fog locks via Constant Mists, and high-tier defensive protection like Teferi's Protection, Deflecting Swat, and Sylvan Safekeeper. It closes games through combat damage across Turns 6 and 7.
