This Azorius midrange value deck pairs Volo, Itinerant Scholar with the Folk Hero background to convert diverse creature types into massive card advantage. Volo's Journal notes unique types as creatures resolve, then taps for multi-card draws, while Folk Hero rewards casting Human or Wizard spells with an extra card once per turn. The 99 leans into second-spell and second-draw payoffs (Alandra, Sky Dreamer, Minn, Wily Illusionist, Homunculus Horde, Mischievous Mystic, Alphinaud Leveilleur) that flood the board with tokens and grow threats.
