Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity spellslinger Voltron list commanded by Fire Lord Azula. Azula generates two red mana upon attacking and copies every spell cast while she is attacking. The game plan revolves around deploying Azula, declaring an attack, and using her firebending mana to cast cheap pump spells and evasion cantrips that copy immediately. With double-striking power buffs and evasion, Azula easily reaches the 21 commander damage threshold in a single swing to eliminate opponents sequentially. Secondary burn creatures convert the flurry of cheap instants into table-wide direct damage, while sacrifice outlets like Fling provide reach.
