Deck overview

This Grixis deck is built around Obeka, Splitter of Seconds, turning combat damage into additional upkeep steps during each post-combat main phase. By equipping Obeka with unblockable tools and stat boosters like Brotherhood Regalia and Blackblade Reforged, the deck multiplies upkeep triggers exponentially. Upkeep permanents such as Court of Ambition, Twilight Prophet, and Bonehoard Dracosaur generate immense card advantage, drain opposing life totals, and strip opposing resources. A secondary infinite combat combo with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Combat Celebrant offers an alternate route to victory. The deck operates on a steady mana curve with dependable land drops, leveraging aggressive value compounding to overwhelm the table within two response cycles after Obeka connects.
