Bracket: 2

DeckCheck Threat Index: 30

Deck overview

This Golgari deck uses Dina, Essence Brewer to turn sacrifice fodder into steady card advantage and growing combat threats. The early game focuses on setting up mana acceleration and deploying recurring token generators like Ophiomancer, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Awakening Zone. Once the commander is in play, each sacrificed creature draws a card and pumps key attackers while gaining life. Midgame turns leverage payoffs such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Dina, Soul Steeper to drain opponents whenever creatures leave the battlefield. The deck transitions into a lethal win condition around turn 6 using overrun effects like Blossoming Bogbeast or explosive counter generation from Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest. Supported by flexible removal including Assassin's Trophy and Toxic Deluge, the deck maintains board control while steadily pressuring opposing life totals to close the game by turn 8.
