Deck overview

This mono-black deck is commanded by Tinybones, Trinket Thief and focuses on a discard attrition strategy. Early turns prioritize establishing Tinybones on Turn 2, followed by cheap discard spells on Turn 3 to generate steady card advantage through its end-step trigger. The 99 includes a heavy density of creatures and sorceries that force opponents to discard, steadily stripping resources. However, the list lacks recurring discard engines and stax pieces, meaning opponents still draw and play cards normally in topdeck mode. The primary win condition relies on emptying opposing hands to activate Tinybones's 10-life drain ability, which demands high mana and multiple turn cycles. Because the deck has minimal protection, limited instant-speed interaction, and no compact infinite combos, its late-game clock is slow and exposed to targeted removal.
