Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov pillowfort and attrition strategy helmed by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. The primary game plan revolves around enchanting opposing creatures with cheap, debilitating Auras such as Darksteel Mutation, Spirit Link, and Sheltered by Ghosts. Eriette turns these defensive investments into a lethal, symmetric life-drain clock that bypasses combat steps while preventing enchanted threats from attacking you. Secondary synergies amplify this drain through life-gain payoffs like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, and Bloodthirsty Conqueror, which also doubles as a compact two-card infinite combo. While the deck possesses resilient spot removal and potent anti-creature deterrence, it relies heavily on permanent-based engines that must survive multiple turn cycles to close out the table.
