Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai +1/+1 counters and mill-aggro strategy commanded by The Wise Mothman. It focuses on accelerating mana in the early turns to deploy the commander on Turn 4. Once in play, Mothman distributes rad counters to all players, triggering steady mill during precombat main phases. Each nonland card milled places +1/+1 counters across your creature base, which quickly compounds through counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Corpsejack Menace, or proliferation engines like Evolution Sage and Bloated Contaminator. The deck converts this mounting board presence into a decisive victory around Turns 5 to 7 using unblockable combat from Herald of Secret Streams, an overwhelming attack with Overwhelming Stampede, or an alternate win condition with Simic Ascendancy. Instant-speed protection spells such as Heroic Intervention and Ripples of Potential safeguard the board against disruption.
